Ground beef should be your go-to ingredient when it comes to making a quick and rich lunch or dinner. There are plenty of things to cook with ground beef and we don’t mean just the regular hamburger or lasagna recipes. Ground beef is delicious, versatile and easy to mix with almost anything you have in the fridge or pantry. 1. Szechuan Noodles With Spicy Beef Sauce

Are you in the mood for some home-made Chinese food? Nothing easier! Take a large skillet and brown the ground beef until it crumbles and set it aside after you drained it. Take a pan and sauté garlic, onion, grated fresh ginger and red peppers in sesame oil. Mix some beef broth with 2 teaspoons of cornstarch and whisk until smooth. Add the broth mixture, some soy sauce in the garlic pan and stir for a minute until cooked. Add the ground beef and toss previously cooked vermicelli noodles. Sprinkle the dish with chopped green onions and enjoy a meal to remember.

2. Greek Baked Ziti

This is a Greek classic spin-off. Pastitsio is a traditional comfort food and one of the easiest things to cook with ground beef. Cook the meat with onion, garlic, oregano, and fresh tomato sauce, adding two rich kinds of cheese: grated parmesan and mozzarella. Boil some penne pasta and gently mix into the creamy ground beef sauce in a casserole. Add a layer of grated cheeses and bake in the oven for 30 minutes. In the meanwhile, make some jicama slaw by mixing together chopped jicama, sliced radishes, chopped cilantro, lime juice, and mayonnaise in a bowl. Cook the ground beef in a non-stick skillet and add freshly chopped pineapple chunks, seasoning with salt and pepper. Take a pan and sauté some garlic and onion with orange juice. Stuff each bell pepper with the mix (after you removed the seeds, of course) and spread crumble Feta on top. Cover each bell pepper with a slice of tomato and put the peppers into a casserole. Bake in the oven until the meat is tender and the cheese melts. For a lovely look, pick differently colored peppers (red, green and yellow).

9. Picadillo Cubano

This Cuban recipe is easy to make and full of flavors. Take a pan and cook your ground beef in some olive oil. While you stir occasionally, add some cumin, oregano, chopped onion and peppers, chopped garlic, salt, pepper and a bay leaf. After ten minutes, add a cup of tomato sauce, a cup of white wine, green olives cut in half and a handful of raisins. Reduce the heat and let it cook (stirring from time to time) for about thirty minutes. Serve on a plate with a white rice side, olives and maybe half of an avocado.

10. Ground Beef Stroganoff

This dish looks like you have cooked it all day, but in fact, it will only take 30 minutes to finish. Take a large skillet and cook some chopped onions until they get translucent. Add the ground beef and brown well, and then remove all the grease. Throw in some salt, pepper and other spices you enjoy. Add a can of condensed mushroom soup or beef soup for more flavors and some garlic powder. Stir until the meat is well cooked and you have a creamy paste to work further with. Before serving this dish, boil some pasta (anything but spaghetti). Make a bed of pasta on each plate. Add a can of sour cream in the skillet and mix the cream with the ground beef sauce. Put the meat in a layer on top of the pasta in each plate and decorate with freshly chopped parsley.
