With the word weight loosing, the first thing that comes in our mind is heavy exercises. But this is not the only way to achieve loosing calories. With a bit of change in our food habits, we can achieve this. Again with exercises as well we need to need what to eat when trying to lose weight because we cannot lose weight both by consuming and burning at the same time. Another important thing after burning calories is to maintain the low calorie part i.e. the weight loss should be permanent. With the maintenance of this food habit, this is very easily possible. Weight loosing pills are also present in the market but the question is that is it really effective, do they have any side effect and does they work permanently. May be they are effective to some extend but to make the weight loss permanent, we have to depend on the suitable food habits to lose weight. Here we also have to concentrate on the cooking habit of the foods that needs to be cooked. Certain cooking ways creates calories, fats like frying etc. And also we have to make the food tasty so that they can be easily and continuously consumed. So with suitable food habit to lose weight, we can lose weight easily and permanently. People often wonder what to eatwhen trying to lose weight.

What to eat when trying to lose weight:

FRUITS AND VEGETABLES:- The healthy way of choosing food is to choose fruits and vegetables if we are trying to lose weight. They have elements which will reduce and will not put any extra burden of fat. We can get help from this by consuming 2.5 bowl of vegetables and 2 bowls of fruits daily in our breakfast, lunch and dinner. We have to replace eggs, meats etc by spinach, tomatoes, lettuce, onions etc. One has to replace carbohydrate rich foods and consume this and see the result.

FIBER:- It is one of the most important thing that needs to be added in the food habit to lose weight.  Besides fiber slashes chances to lose weight since it has lots of nutrients which will make u feel fuller. 2 important source of fiber are beans and oats. One cup of black beans supplies 15 grams of fiber. Again a bowl of oats are enough for the fiber requirement for the full day.

HEALTHY FATS:-  By healthy fats it means mono-saturated fatty asides or MUFAs. Not all fats that we consume are bad and increase weights but MUFAs are there.  It helps reduce fats and also protects for heart diseases. To choose suitable food habit to lose weight, this ingredient is a must one. The source is like canola oil, avocado, flax seed oil, and pesto sauce. Their daily consumption in an adequate quantity is enough to lose weight.

ENERGY DRINKS: – This is known to be a must after hours of exercises which help in regaining the lost electrophytes and other minerals during exercises. But expect professional athletes with a very hard workout regime, it is not advisable have these drinks for they are rich in sugar and calories. For substitutes, rehydrate yourself with water and foods like vegetables and fruits.

LOW FAT SNACKS: – We are quite aware of the low fat snacks and common sense suggests that this is the ideal food during diets. But the fact is they are rich in sugar levels which increase the blood sugar which results in release of insulin which tells the body to make fat of the sugar. Hence the fat storage continues in the body instead of the matter that you are dieting. So they are a big no no while dieting.

ALCOHOLS: – They are always rich in fat content. 150 is the count of calorie in each bottle and so they are a big no.
