The dieter understands how much calorie is to be taken at each meal and what food should be eaten to maintain the nutrition level in the body. The specific meal plans eliminates the worry about what should be included in the meals. Simply put, meal plans are a helpful guide that make the entire dieting process easier. Given below are some such meal plans for quicker weight loss.

Plan for breakfast

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Eating right during this time keeps your body prepared for the rest of the day. Skipping breakfast is a bad idea as your hunger pangs will be more throughout the day and that will end up in making your overeat during the other meals of the day, and also during mid-meal snacks. The breakfast should always be nutritious and filling and the meal plans to lose weight should be structured accordingly. So, you can have a cup of cereals with fat free milk. Have one fruit like orange or banana. You can also have cooked oatmeal, along with a glass of skimmed milk or breakfast burritos with orange juice and skimmed milk.

Plan for lunch

Lunch is the next important meal, which gives you the energy to last out the afternoon and evening. The lunch should be heavier as that will take care of your afternoon hunger pangs. You can easily keep a count of calories and yet eat scrumptious lunch with the proper meal plans to lose weight. For lunch, you can opt for whole wheat bread or pita bread sandwiches what will be high on both fiber and proteins. Fill the sandwiches with lots of veggies and roast beef or chicken, smoked turkey etc. wash down the sandwich with fat free milk or tomato juice or any other fruit juice. Munch on the side on baked potato wedges or sliced apples.

Plan for dinner

Dinner is meant to be kept light. This is because, when you sleep, your body is not at all in digestion mode and hence a heavy dinner with lots of calories will not be digested properly, leading to both indigestion and fat storage. The dinner meal plans to lose weight includes stir fried vegetables and brown rice, grilled steak, mashed potatoes and boiled vegetables, or even broiled salmon, a whole wheat roll. Accompany the main item with a cup of fat free milk or lemon iced tea.

Plans for snacks

Plans for mid meal snacks are important too. For this, you can munch on a cup of yogurt with fruit, roasted almonds and raisins or small cup of diced fruit. The key is to keep hunger away to avoid overeating.
