The Nate Robinson Hair Style – Why Does It Look So Cool?

The Nate Robinson haircut changes depending on whom you ask about it. Some people say it’s a fade, and others say it’s tapered, but both sides agree that it’s some variety of afro. If you look closely at it, it becomes pretty clear that this style is, in fact, an afro fade, as opposed to a tapered afro. It’s clear that the sides are cut very short, but there’s no gradient to them. That makes it a fade, as there’s a seamless transition from a near shave to the thick, curly afro that Robinson still keeps trimmed and neat on top of his head.

There’s going to continue to be debates about the correct name for the Nate Robinson haircut. This is no wonder since it might be the rebellious child of an old-fashioned military high-and-tight. Another possibility is a new-wave afro that works as well for athletes as it does for college students, it’s important to remember that barbers know their business. If you want to get the style that Robinson wears on the court, bring a picture. It will be worth several thousand words! Thus, you don’t need countless explanations for what style you want your stylist to give to your hair.

Should You Get It?

Firstly, that depends on your own style. Some people prefer playing around with thrybody, so make sure your other physical traits go along with it.

Other than that, you can simply grab a picture. Show it to your hairdresser next time you’re up for a challenge.
